Customer Update – Protest Actions 13 July

13 July 2021

Dear Valued Customers,

As we continue to monitor the developing situation across the country, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to you for your understanding and patience during this challenging time. While the majority of protests has been concentrated in the Kwa-Zulu Natal and Gauteng regions, we are receiving updates of isolated incidents in other parts of the country. We are however confident that the matter will be resolved soon.

At present our offices in Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Ladysmith and Richards Bay remain closed. With the threat of more protests and looting across these locations it is critical that we ensure the safety of our workforce at all times. No collections or deliveries will take place in these areas today. We are also not able to run any linehaul vehicles between Johannesburg and Durban at this time as the situation on the N3 remains unstable and volatile. We continue to monitor the situation and will
be sharing relevant updates with all customers as new information becomes available.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during these challenging times, and we remain committed to delivering a safe, reliable service to all our customers.

Should you require any additional information or guidance please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Customer Relationship Manger, or branch manager immediately. Alternatively reach out to our live chat service on www.aramex.co.za

Sincerely Yours,

George Van Der Merwe
